Steve Abercrombie is a crafter of experimental folk that inspires euphoric feelings among listeners. It's evocative and hypnotic and every piece boasts the mark of a true artist. Abercrombie long ago decided to always be creative and refuse to write music that is derivative. Abercrombie has his own things to say and doesn't want to shallowly repeat another's musical message. The old saying is that there is nothing new under the sun but Abercrombie's work disproves that.
The Bankwalkers

The Bankwalkers are a Blues Rock Trio from Carrollton Ga. The music they play ranges from tradition blues from artists such as Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf to later blues rock artists such as Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix and even other Blues influenced artists like Gov't Mule, Black Sabbath and Tom Petty. The members are Monty Neese, Kevin Lyle and Neil Yearta. All three members of the Bankwalkers have had a lifelong affection for music or I guess you might call it an obsession with music.
Eaton Street Blues Band

Bill Eaton - guitarist, vocalist and songwriter has been playing blues in the south for more than 25 years. Bill always wanted to have a BLUES BAND. After many tries with many other musicians Bill bought his nephew Geoff a bass guitar for Christmas about four years ago and started teaching him to play. The trend continued with musicians coming and going. All the while Geoff was honing his skills at the bass and they put together a song list, all blues & blues/rock. The Eaton Street Band is going strong, playing blues classics, recording Bill's originals and doing some smokin' blues/rock. They love playing their music and it shows. Check 'em out! Tell 'em we sent you!

Kevin Lyle

Kevin gives guitar & bass lessons here at Ballew's Music, and he's the real deal. He plays in 3 bands. He plays drums for Thunder Monkey and The Bankwalkers, and he is the lead guitarist for Rustbucket...a new blues powerhouse in the West Ga area. Kev can do it all and does it well, whether it be in the studio or on the stage. We luv ya Kev!

From JML's website:
Hey, I am Jon Mark Lundell. I play bass in GrooveBucket with Kevin Lyle, Kyle Gilbert, Grant Long, and Neil Yearta. I play drums in Hi-Test with Johnny Knox, Neal Wilson, and M-2. I am playing either bass or drums with Justin Tyme depending on the night. Sometimes with Justin Tyme, Dan Bowman, Andy Harris, Jody Lundell.....others perhaps? I have a home studio, where I have made a couple of records now, and I am in the process of finishing up my punk record. Come see one of the bands for crying out loud. I have been in the following bands in this order: Mystery Motion, October, The Amazing Idiots, Six Ways To Sunday, The Hollywood All Stars, The Family Jewels, Weight Of Days, The Dirt Poets, GrooveBucket, Johnny Knox and Hi-Test, Copasetic, Justin Tyme, and The Lundell Brothers. Wow, I didn't realize there had been that many. The Lundell Brothers consists of just my big brother, Jody Lundell, and I. We just released a cd last year, and are working on a second right now. If anybody has made it this far you are a trooper! Big Love, JML

Snowcone for President- Snowcone For President started as an acoustic project a few years ago with sole member Jeremy Neese. Jeremy later set out to form a band called Tube Skreamer with his brother Josh Neese. Tube Skreamer disbanded because the lead singer ripped a vocal cord and was unable to practice for months. While sitting on the deck one night Jeremy and Josh decided to start up Snowcone for President again but this time electric. They at once set out to find a drummer which came in the form of Micah Bingham. The band was formed and the rest is history. Check 'em out

3 wandering sons of the mighty Scylla, daughter of Nisus, in the eternal search of their older brother. The mission...to clear the name of their loving mother and the evil done to her by Cirse, the evil enchantress. Country/roots singer/songwriter from the East Alabama / West GA area. David is one of the hardest working musicians you'll find anywhere around. He puts his heart and soul into his songs and it's evident when you give them a listen. David has really come into his own with his new cd, "Life". Check out his website for more info on David....don't forget to pick up his new cd!

Sunset:Carcrash- Sunset:carcrash began as a solo acoustic project in which the only constant member was Tyler McSwain. A revolving group of musicians would play at any given time, though now, Sunset is much more constant. It has evolved into a blues/rock band with a folky twist... Current members are Tyler McSwain (Lead Guitar, Lead Vocals), Bain Griffith (Bass, Vocals), Tyler Ashley (Acoustic Guitar, Vocals), and Dalton McSwain (Guitar, Drums). They are simply a group of guys who love playing music.

I thought about simply copying and pasting a bio for Matt, but I ain't goin' out like that! Matt is a good friend, and like family here at Ballew's. You are hard-pressed to find someone who has a genuine love of music in his heart like Matt....and that's enough to command our respect, but when you hear him play, your like "Damn! This guy is the real deal!". The industry needs more guys like this...period.
