Q: What makes Dava Picks different and how do they work?
A: Unlike ordinary picks, Dava picks have a flexible center section. This is placed right where you hold it. You control the flexibility by putting pressure either toward the tip or toward the back of the pick, or anywhere in between the two, giving you multi-gauge control.

Q: What are the benefits of Multi-Gauge control?
A: Being able to control pick gauge gives you unlimited options of flexibility, all in one pick. This is especially useful when you move between rhythm and lead. Adjusting your pick gauge while playing will add a lot of dynamic expression to your music.

Q: What is tractor grip?
A: Tractor grip refers to the ridges running across the middle of the picks on both sides. With tractor grip our picks stay exactly where you want them to.between your fingers.

Q: Do they come in different gauges?
A: Dava picks eliminate the need to worry about pick gauge. Because all Dava picks are multi-gauge, there's every gauge you'd want in the one pick. Instead of reaching for a thin, medium, or hard pick, you can now just use a single pick and concentrate on your music, not your pick.

Q: How long do they last?
A: Dava picks last a long time. Even our celluloid model lasts longer than usual because it is made with a 1mm thick tip. And you can always sharpen up the point with a little sandpaper.

Q: Do they break in the middle?
A: No, they won't break, but just like any pick, if you over bend it you may lose some of the flexibility.

Q: Are Dava picks good for beginners?
A: Yes! Not only are Dava picks easier to hold, they give beginners and professionals alike a much wider range of control over the music they play. You now have one pick that does exactly what you want it to, and this makes playing rhythm and lead much easier and smoother.

Q: I usually hold my pick upside down. How can I still get the control?
A: If you're used to playing with the very round part of the pick (back section) you can try rounding off the tip with a file and sandpaper.

Q:Is the Nickel Silver tip hard on strings?
A: Nickel Silver is a soft material, the same as the frets on your guitar. Although a metal pick is harder on the strings than plastic, the Master Control pick is not anywhere near as hard as stainless steel. You definitely want to check it out, as it's the first metal pick ever to have plastic flexibility.
